Mickey: Weekend Recap

Let's all put our hands together for Mr2's 62nd...I mean 26th Birthday! You will have to give us your report soon. Apparently our lesbian friend was not available to give u a lap dance for 26 min on your 26th birthday.

To the weekend:

So, Friday night was just for relaxing. I stayed in and watched a few movies. I don't know why the hell I watched "The Break Up." Saturday was the big wedding. I was pumped up because I had a nice, new suit and was ready for salsa dancing (since the bride is dominican and all). The ceremony was short and sweet and as the reception began, the free alcohol begin to flow. Some of the guests that I had met, along with some othere people I knew, were placed at one table, while me and my roommate were placed at another table with strangers. I looked around and was like, "damn, this is going to suck." Surprisingly, we start chatting and our table becomes the most entertaining. After sharing laughs with the best man's parents. The best man and his parents invite me to their big 4th of July event. The worst part of the wedding had to be the music. They only played 3 salsa songs and 2 hip hop songs. And if I hear "Sexy Back" one more time, I'm going to break some backs! So after the wedding, my roommate and I decided 2 head out to the clubs. It wasn't until the second club that we got into a verbal confrontation with some guys. Some drunken guy was about to fall on Ricky so he pushed him forward (which the guy turned around and thanked him for pushing him so he wouldn't fall). It was his friends that looked a Ricky and started talking smack. I was wearing a $400 suit, so I know I wasn't going to do anything. But, apparently my friend, who is an attorney, decided that he would talk smack back. We didn't end up fighting though. We just watched the bouncer escort one of the guys out of the club. It's always good to be friends with the DJ. ;-)

Sunday was great because I had free tix (thanks to BET) to see the Ciara concert at the House of Blues. So I invited my boy who's bday was Saturday...filipino November bdays...lol. And we get to the counter and are told we have to go to a certain section to get our tix. Low and behold, they are VIP tix. There's rooms I never knew existed in that place. There were like 3 boom-boom rooms, private rooms, etc. We also took pics with the host of BET's Hotwyred. It was a great night overall. And I was happy that my present for him was a VIP tix.

That's all folks!
