Mickey B: Disturbing Weekend

Damn,I had the most disturbing weekend. So, I've been interested in this half Chinese/White chick for a bit (who I won't mention). So, I let her know how I felt, and basically she wasn't interested, which was something I could deal with and didn't bother me. But then she kept talking and it basically came down to the fact that she couldn't date me because I'm Black. Her father is Chinese and he's racist against Blacks. Her brother is married to a black woman and her father disowned him. He doesn't even tell people that he has a son. So, she's afraid to lose her family and won't date a Black guy. She wouldn't even go on a date w/ me because of that fact. She told me she dated Black guys in the past and had problems w/ her family and for this reason she won't date a Black guy. I guess what went through my mind mostly was that this is 2007 and I was told that I couldn't do something because I'm Black.

I'm not racist at all. You know me. And it was like a big slap in the face. Blacks have been making some great positive steps this year. Two Black coaches in the Super Bowl, one black guy qualifying for a PBA Tournament (first time ever), and Obama for President. We have some great positive things to celebrate for Black History month this year. I'm not going to let what she said get me down. I'll never say anything bad about the Indian culture again because although I know how shady it is, and how the feel about Blacks, I would never want to be racist against any culture. So not only was it a disturbing weekend, but it was an eye-opener and a lesson well-learned.

New England Patriots sign five-year extension with Satan after losing to Colts:

FOXBORO, Massachusetts -- The New England Patriots Sunday agreed to a five-year, $100-million deal with the Prince of Darkness. Their contract ran out after last weeks Satan-fueled win over the much better team, the San Diego Chargers. Bob Kraft was too busy bathing in macaroni and cheese to realize his contract had run out after the fluke win last week and neglected to offer up the souls of his grandchildren before today’s game vs. the Colts.

"Satan is an incredibly valuable member of the Patriots' family," said team owner Bob Kraft, "and we are delighted our fans will continue to enjoy his exploits while being delivered into his power."

The Patriots acquired the Great Deceiver as a free agent before the 2001 season, after last-minute negotiations and pleas for forgiveness from Baltimore Ravens owner Art Modell. Since then, the Devil has led the previously-inept New England franchise to three Super Bowl championships and five AFC East titles.

The team has not been without struggles, as players have left to sign with other teams or been sent into the bowels of hell. The Patriots this year have worked without football receiver Deion Branch, who signed with the Seattle Seahawks, and defensive tackle Ted Washington, now walking in a circle in a lead jacket for all eternity.

However, Kraft said there have been three constants: Satan, coach Bill Belichick, and quarterback Tom Brady, previously an unemployed 48-year-old machinist from San Matteo, California.

"When Satan magically transformed this loser into the greatest quarterback in history, we knew he'd be worth every penny," Kraft said. "Only members of Satan's dark army know how pathetic Tommy was before that fateful night at the crossroads."

Belichick had signed with Satan the previous year, gaining a reputation as a genius coach in exchange for his soul and his fashion sense.

"It's really not so much that I'm brilliant," Belichick said after defeating the San Diego Chargers 24-21 Sunday. "Satan continually delivers our enemies unto us, praise be unto him. No sooner do they take the field than they're suddenly turning over the ball and having accidents."

"I mean, can you believe Brady threw an interception, only to have the Chargers fumble it and the Patriots recover?" Belichick added. "Come on, that's not skill. That's preparation and goat sacrifice."

The Patriots would have met the Indianapolis Colts for a 34-20 victory that would've featured two Brady touchdowns, 12 "accidental" Colts turnovers and the damnation of Red Sox fan Scott Brywood, 26, of Brookline, had Kraft re-upped his contract in time.

Satan had expressed interest in signing Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, but Manning has already sold his soul to Mastercard.

The Dark Lord will remain with the Patriots through the 2011 season, at which point he will carry a screaming Kraft into a world of terror and darkness.

Mickey B: Long time no see!

Wow, I haven't written on here in quite some time. Flo told me had 2 write on here...so...here I go. I quit BET shortly before Christmas. There was not much growth for me there, the process to complete tasks continued to lengthen due to management's compliance to government regulations (although they could have spent time and money to find ways to reduce the process). They simply don't care about the workers and it was time for me 2 go.

I threw an awesome New Year party. There was alcohol, music, food, and karaoke. It was definitely a time to remember. Dan passed out on my roommate's bed. Lol...I don't know how he got there. Gil passed out on the couch before waking up to Dan pouring champagne on his head. Sam won the karaoke contest although I have no idea how she one. There wasn't much presentation besides the red dress and the actual fact that she could sing...lol Roger put on an amazing performance although his back up singers sucked and he didn't know half the words he was singing. I think he made up his own language in the process [check out my facebook page for videos].

I started school at the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. The chicks there are sooo hot. But, the projects are starting to add up and I really need to get myself organized. As of this weekend, I will be concentrating more on school and looking for work. I already got one number from a chick at the school. Who would've thought it--a Black girl! Don't know if I want 2 go that route, but this is a new year and I should try new things. Apparently the girl I did like was making out with the bday boy yesterday so....guess that's a lost cause. Plus, I don't think I want 2 end up in a love triangle. I've been there b4 and the results were not good. Although there has not been much success on the love front...life has been good. The Bears are going to the Superbowl, and if the Colts pull it off, it will be the battle of the Midwest teams on Feb 3rd. At least the Midwest will finally get some attention for a change.
